    Soft eyes
    That is what you have.
    Honest eyes
    But do they tell lies?
    Eyes that glimmer
    And steal a glance
    Attempting to meet your gaze,
    You suddenly retract.
    Eyes that smile
    When we chat
    Playfully dancing
    The gaze floats back.
    Magnetic looks
    Some razor sharp,
    But my favorite
    Is when your eyes dart.
    For then I know
    You are caught
    I begin to stop questioning
    If it’s all for naught.

    In conclusion
    Those eyes of yours
    Full of stories left untold,
Those eyes, they speak to me
But to search them, I must be bold.
