Makes it harder when things end to be accused of having lied about the things I confused in you.

I confided in you because I trusted you. I told my ex about you because I was falling in love with you.

What a kick in the guts, I just look back on it, what was a kick in the guts. As if it wasn’t enough, I have to move on accepting you’ll never believe me and I don’t know why.

I was meant to say confided. Not confused. Autocorrect.

      just ask your person why.
Unless this is used as an excuse to leave you, there my be a valid reason (to them)
as to why trust is lost.
Even if you won’t reconcile (although this may well be a good question on the way to it),
you will learn something about yourself that you may not realize.
Ultimately you will be given a chance to evaluate and potentially avoid it in your future (if you so choose)

It’s beyond the place where I can ask why. It was very nasty. Unlikely he and I will ever speak again. But you’re right, I should have asked then. I didn’t. I should have.
