Soulmates huh? I’ve considered it before. The problem is, soulmates should really understand each other right? Because I don’t think we do.

How could you really understand me all these years later, after you pushed me out of your life, blocked me everywhere, refused to every answer one of my texts or calls with anything more than pure contempt? You have no idea what that did to me. In spite of it all, I kept coming back here, hoping this could the last bastion where I could still communicate with you. And all these years, all the thousands of letters I’ve read, and you couldn’t even bring yourself to use your name just once to validate my sanity. That’s either extreme cowardice or maliciousness.

So here’s what will do, to test out your theory. Let’s truly understand each other. I’ll show you how badly it hurts to be utterly neglected by the person you care the most about in the whole world. And in the process, maybe I will discover the appeal of such appalling cruelty. Maybe when you understand what desperation really feels like you will be willing to shoulder your half of the relationship.

In the meantime, perhaps I’ll be off fucking other girls or maybe sucking loads of dicks. It’s all the same really, because you’ll never know.

I’ve been on the other side of this and if they’ve got to the point of convincing themselves that they can live without you and deleted and blocked you from everything. I’m sure your retaliation will cement the fact they made the right decision the first time and it won’t take much this time to come to the decision to truly walk away, but this time…for good. So good luck.

I totally agree with that. You will only push them further away. But what if that’s the real intention? This way you will always have them to blame for everything.

Soulmates are those that grow your soul. Soulmates are there to help you understand yourself- not to understand the other. It’s a painful experience.
There’s no need to ‘show’ anyone anything. No need to try to make the other understand.
