You want me to quit smoking? Ok, I will, but I want you to give me something I want first.

Ill let you decide what that is. But it should be commensurate with the fact that cigarettes, unlike you, have been there for me whenever I needed them.

From one smoker to another…I know you know that this will never work the way you intend. Quitting is not such an easy thing to do. It is mostly mental. Until you decide enough is enough and do this for yourself you are wasting your time talking.

I hope you make that decision. Smoking is disgusting. I know that all too well. Good luck to you author.

My ex husband had your attitude. I wanted him to quit because I loved him and didn’t want him to die early. If you want to smoke – smoke- but don’t ever expect someone to give up something because they want you to finally look after yourself and be a sensible grown up. You sound passive aggressive. Yes, he is my ex husband for a reason.

From one smoker back to another…you’re exactly right. It is mostly mental. But if youve ever been really, really lonely, maybe you’ll understand what I mean when I say that, as nasty as they may be, cigarettes are like a good friend. I could give up smoking, but I dont want to give up my friend. Not while Im still so lonely. And Ive noticed that when I am with loved ones, my urge to smoke is greatly diminished.

Thank you for your understanding and support Britney.
