I can’t stop thinking about you. I see you every day and even that’s not enough. I am so happy that we work together. That place would suck so much without you. Whenever you walk past my desk I can’t help but smile even if we don’t talk or even make eye contact. Just the thought of you being near me for those few seconds is enough for me to get through another hour or two of monotonous work. And when we do actually work together on something? Pure heaven. You make me laugh so hard that I’m always afraid we’re going to get in trouble for having too much fun while we’re working. I don’t really care though, it would still be worth it. Sitting next to you and talking about anything and everything is my favorite thing to do. Your opinions fascinate me. You have such a unique view on life that I’m constantly surprised by the things you say. And your laugh! Your laugh is perfect. Sometimes I just sit and try to think of things to say to you that you might think are funny just so I can hear it again. My life is complete with you in it. I’ve never felt as safe and as comfortable with anyone as I do with you. You make me feel like I can do anything. Nothing is impossible with you by my side. I would do absolutely anything for you. Whatever I can do to make you happy, I’ll do it. And that’s exactly why I’ll say nothing about my feelings for you. I’ll stand quietly by as you get married next month. I won’t say a word.

This letter is bitter sweet for me when I read it. The bitter part is that I wish it was for me. The sweet part is you seem to be happy. That’s all I’ve ever hoped for you. I have accepted things the way they are. To be honest I think it time I get out in the social life again. Maybe that’s what it will take to get over the idea that you were ever writing to me. To be honest I was hanging onto hopes of us reconciliating. I now know I’m the last one on your mind. I don’t regret anything with you. We had some awesome fun. I hope this new love of yours cherishes your heart of gold. I miss having a deep connection with a woman. It’s time I let my walls down, like you have. No one could ever take your place in my heart, but it’s time I fill different parts of it.
I love you more than you will ever know.
Enough to even let you go to find your true happy.
