    Ever love someone so much,
It didn’t matter what you were
    Or are
As long as they are near?
You can feel love be pulled
    From your heart
    And spill from your tongue,
    Wishing for flesh
    Yearning for quiet talks
    After passionate
    But you don’t,
    And even though inches
    Terrify you,
    You wish and hope
    For one less
    Divide to separate the airways.
    Hoping to kiss a face
    You can’t imagine
    Ever turning away
    You fly without holding onto
    The mess for so long
    Because you know disastor
    Is how this was created
    But the beautiful thing,
Its not how it will end
    Not in your eye
    Not with one less inch.

To love a person to the point that you just want them near, regardless of their role in your life, is beautiful. Tragic, at times, but beautiful nonetheless.
