I can’t respect who you’ve become any longer. You stayed in that town and accepted the misery of your surroundings. I knew that place was screwed up when I was 15. Children growing up there have few good role models. They usually end up doing drugs with their parents! Now, many, many years later, I’m glad I got out of there and sought more from life. But, reconnecting with you was a mistake. I thought you were a person who did what they wanted or the intelligent thing, regardless of the thoughts or pressures from others. I’ve realized that you’re a phony. Letting your kids become damaged beyond repair for what? It’s pathetic. I’m glad that you are now gone from my life.
