You visited me last night. Down the steps you walked. Me across the room looking up. Our eyes met for the first time in too long. Hugging instantly without a touch. She was sitting next to me. She saw our gaze. She knew you and her would never compare. She started crying. She walked out of the house. I started crying. You started crying. We wrapped our arms around each other. We couldn’t feel where our bodies ended and the others began. And we knew we couldn’t let go ever again. And we believed it. It was the safest I had ever felt. I was home. You were home.
I didn’t want to wake up.
    Youre with me today.
