I don’t know if you still read these…or if you ever did
You changed my life. You taught me that my peace can be found around me in nature. You showed me trees. I honor them now.
I read all of your writings and I internalized them deeply.
I came to you wounded and your gentleness soothed me. It was best that we parted, I know. There is such a deep raging inside of me…such a fearfulness of getting close. Shattered emotions screaming through the air like shards of glass. There was no way I could put myself together sufficiently for you.
Like the children you touched on your silent walks, you touched me too.
Thank you Wren
I found you as vast and amazing as the trees you love
It was an honor.
