I will burn it down for you.
But you won’t hear me confess
    Everything that was never true
    Ash and fallen mess

I’ll be in your eyes by dawn
    Under desperate spells
Of days and years forever gone
    Prideful ancient hells

Love, I will not sniff at doors
    Begging from my thirst
Love, I will not cross the shores
I unless you say it first

Leave the dew where once was frost
    Whatever morning brings
Tell me I have not been lost
    That sunlight can draw wings

Tell me to treat you rough
    Your grin betraying bone
And laugh away late mornings fluff
    Tell me to come home.

    I will.

Thank you. They are being sent to the truest place I know so I will never receive ‘Return to Sender’. It makes me happy that they are being read.

Home is where the heart is & you have my heart for you are my Home. Please come home to me. Nothing would bring me more joy than to be on each other’s arms forever once more.
