    Dear Ali,

No offense or anything, but a friend who cares would like you to know that you have bad breath. Please don’t be offended – lots of people suffer from bad breath and are unaware of it! We’re human and sometimes we stink, but there’s plenty you can do to address your problem:

Floss daily and brush your teeth at least twice a day (ideally, after every meal). If you don’t have floss or toothpaste handy, gargle with some water or find yourself some hard candy to suck on.

Chew gum or suck on mints throughout the day to keep your breath fresh. Especially when you get close to people.

Stay hydrated. Bad breath can become a problem if you’re dehydrated, so stick to water and other non-caffeinated drinks.

If you already do all of the above and still have bad breath, see your dentist. You may have periodontal disease.

I know an Ali but he doesn’t have any friends who care. Although, I’m sure he wouldn’t want his name dropped in an almost slanderous manner on an anonymous site. I’ll be sure to inform him of this post.

The Ali I know brushes his teeth once a day and doesn’t floss, chew gum, eat mints, or suck on hard candy. He definitely doesn’t have periodontal disease or anything like that. Personally as I guy, I feel like my breath only needs to smell good when I’m around people I want to attract. Bad breath is something that’s easily fixable and I don’t think it’s something anyone should be concerned about in such a busy, short life.

Honestly, this letter is kind of fucked-up. I’m sure the subject of this letter even have bad breath.

(This is the first time I’ve dropped my name on this site. haha)

      (Maybe it’s the last…)

      My name is Ali..
      What a funny letter…
      I wonder who wrote it… >_>

There’s no need for anonymity anymore.

On the off chance that this letter was written about me, I don’t have bad breath, gingivitis, or periodontal disease. I usually brush my teeth once a day and I sometimes floss. Though, I could definitely change my habits a little when it comes to health and hygiene.

See, I like garlic, spinach, and a lot of other foods that can smell bad to other people. I also smoke sometimes and it can make my breath smell bad but I’d quit to be with the girl I love. I don’t even smoke consistently anymore. Also, if I did have bad breath, none of my ‘friends’ are around me often enough to know if it’s a common occurrence.

Also, sometimes people get lazy and/or careless when it comes to their heath and/or hygiene; you know, especially when they feel low and sad, it happens.

Obviously I’d want my breath to smell fresh and clean when I’m around the girl I love though..

Otherwise she wouldn’t want to kiss me…
