    Dear Kyle,

I love your eyes. Your smile. Your laugh. I wish I could talk to you. You’re so funny. I hope we have classes together. I have so many countless letters written to you that I will never send. I hope you know how truly special you are… And I wish you were mine. I saw you the other day. You looked at me and we stared at each other for longer than we should have. Why is everything so complicated? I like you, you like me, so why can’t we just be together? It’s like your brother says, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

I just want to see you. You’re so sweet and kind. I am forever in debt to you for saving my cousin that day in 6th grade. What you did may not seem like a big deal to you, but you don’t understand how much you shaped his life at that moment. I can never thank you enough.

Maybe if we have any classes together, I’ll say hi and smile. I hope you say it back. I am constantly amazed by the things you say, entranced by the things you do, and you made summer school worthwhile. I was having shitty days left and right, but you always managed to lift my spirits. I have honestly never laughed so hard in my life.

I wish you happiness and success in all that you do.

    Love,
    Alex.

P.S. You have the most beautiful hands I’ve ever seen in my life. Let me draw them, ma cherie?
