• Be careful what you wish for.

Moral of the story ? We should all be careful what we wish for because we might just get it. If I knew this exact time last year what I know now, I would have never dared to wish for you. I still cannot belive how you have treated me, but I guess I have myself to blame I made a wish which became a curse in disguise.

Ah i do understand but my how i wish i could have my wish and at least know if i would be regretfull.
You had yours, and it was not all you wished in the end, but you had it, so maybe it was not in fact what you wished.
But i would wish she loved me as i her. That would be the totality of my wish and if it were to come true, because i know how i love her, i know i would be happier than anyone ever was.
If there was a way to have wishes granted i would do it.
At least be glad of any short time when you were happy in the granting of yours, some of us are doomed to a life of misery and pain to be without theirs

I disagree, it’s better for a wish not to come true then to hurt us and dissappoint us. Ignorance is bliss sometimes.

Depending on circumstances my opinion changes. Most times I’ve had too much pride, or shyness, or fear to try for what (ie who) I want. I regret those choices very much. This time around, I’ve gone out on a limb and I’m very much hurting as it hasn’t gone as I’d hoped. I’m wishing I’d left it alone. Next year though, I might not care. Regret crashes every party, but you have to weigh up what will hurt most in the long run, and whether you’ll cope.

The more pressure you put on yourself to achieve the perfect result, the harder it gets to even get started. You can’t learn from mistakes, if you don’t allow (potential) mistakes.
