Goodbye Love; this darkest night, no more shall I rage against the night. I am now convinced my Sam isn’t here. He doesn’t seek me. He is gone. I am operating under illusion and grief of losing my friend and lifelong love. To those of you who find yourself here, it does help…not to nourish hopes that you’ll find your loved one again; but to write your feelings out and face the truth at last. Grieve. Then go live your life. I leave you with this: If you love someone, tell them. Don’t wait. Don’t regret it. Own it and say it. Then face what comes, be it music in the night, or beautiful moments that come to an end. I am still convinced that Loving someone is good. Peace to you friends, to you, and you, and especially you, my Samwise. Love and fleeting starlight. Always. Candace. Goodnight

“Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”(In quotes, a poem by Dylan Thomas)
