• Roots

You are precious to me. I know when you hear that you immediately doubt – you think that love is a thing for fair weather which will tumble in a stiff breeze.
That may be true for those people who are still learning each other. But you and I aren’t like that. Our love may be young but we’ve done the ground work. Our seed was planted long ago, a whole decade ago in fact. The roots have grown strong and grown deep, we have been tangled up in each other for years. So bring on the wind and the rain, bring on the hurricane – our roots go deep.
You think just because you’re walking into darkness I’m going to turn tail and run? Lead on my love because I’m coming too.
