• getting away from you doesn’t mean I get away from you

    I left the country because I wanted to put as much distance between us as I could, so that I could have some time away from you, some time that belonged to me. Sitting in my flat thoughts of you stagnate in my mind, I am stuck on you and I don’t want to be.

    Obviously running away from you isn’t a permanent option, doesn’t really work as a temporary solution either. One thing I’ve learnt from leaving the country – you seem to follow.
