    I forgave her.

But I know you can’t. You still hate her for everything she’s done to you.

    You lost opportunities, a childhood, a well-being. I understand.

Today must be a very sad day for you, for not having a mother.

I know you feel lonely, more often than I do.

You were never told you were good, that she was proud in you. Nothing you did ever seemed good enough.

But you’re strong. Stronger than any I know. You might have developed a temper, a love for physical things–but it’s only the outer cover of you, where all the sadness and loneliness lies beneath.

You’re not a bad person. You don’t have to exaggerate to get people to like you anymore.

You’re fine the way you are.

You’re fine the way you are.

You’re fine the way you are.

You will always be my hero.

You’re fine the way you are.

    So be happy.
