When you’re in the shower is when I open my mind
Wonder to myself how I could find a girl just too kind
You don’t want commitment but I want you here to stay
You’re my baby girl and rock, there’s so much more to say
Anyone could say that they feel the same as I do
Anyone can simply reply and say I love you too
But it isn’t that simple what we have is rare
It’s also very complicated and at times unfair
You see our love is a secret no one knows the real truth
My best friend and my lover, the baby to my Ruth
I love you forever, first last and all inbetween
But for now we keep these secrets. Our kisses never seen
One day they’ll know about us. When we grow and finish our mature
You can’t fight off this love, it’s simple nature
My everything, my girl, and my best friend,
I just know we’ll last forever, at least until the end
I love you with my heart. The pounding in it tells me so
You just turned off the shower, it’s time for me to go

Poignant, eloquent. Remarkably crafted. Speechless. Beautiful. Exquisite.

yeah except that it’s me in the shower (letter) and not her. Different rock entirely.
