• Who am I?

    What was I thinking?
    Why did I do this?
    Why did I do that?
    Why then?
    Why now?
    Am I in denial?
    Am I crazy?
    Am I naive?
    Am I hypocritical?
    Do I judge?
    Do I not listen?
    Do I run without reason?
    Do I hide my emotions?
    Who am I?
    Because apparently you know.
While I continue to be unaware.
The pain I purposely inflicted upon you.
    For no reason whatsoever.
Because that’s the kind of person I am.
    Think your way to will.
Perception don’t stop it either dear love.
    I happen to know that…
Here or there or a where I don’t know.
    You’re placed in my heart.
I gave it a home there.
    Put curtains up and everything.
    For you.
    To hide.
    Who am I?
    I’d say…

You are enough. If anyone says different, that’s on them. You are you in all your complexities, self-perceived flaws, and beauty that others see or choose not to see. You are who you think you are. Bad or good that’s what you will project to the outside world ya know? So since you can’t please everyone all the time I say, be whoever you want to be. Those who want to stay, will stay. Those who don’t? They are of no consequence except to teach you lessons in your life. Good luck.
