At some point in your life, you look back at your younger years and remember all the things that made you happy and you almost kill yourself trying to find ways to go back to those times and recreate them.

But the truth is, nothing can make you feel the way your childhood did. The thing that all of our souls have in common is that at some point we need to accept it.

Accepting that it’s all over is such a hard process, but you just need to find ways to be happy in a different aspect of your life.

I can’t express or thank life enough for giving me that happiness of being young and free.

It’s time for a new chapter and it’ll open be written when you’re ready.

I have a lot of friends leaving for college now and I’m still here, a senior in high school… so this is sorta what I imagine a lot of them are feeling right now, though I’m hoping they don’t all leave everything from their childhood behind. That would be sad. I guess you carry the memories and people forward in your heart into your new life. Good luck with yours!
