• She is a fortress; her confidence being her weakness

Her confidence is like that of snake skin. Sometimes it is so thick it almost unbearable and other times it is shed, only to reveal a more vulnerable layer. But in life this is needed; a fresh start to hit the ground running. A sort of rejuvenation that can only be fulfilled with a blank slate.
This confidence and the fear of being seen as weak is what makes her and yet breaks her. It is was prevents her from seeing love, expressing love and most of prevents her from accepting love. She wants so badly but does not want others to see this want; only in fear that is will give people satisfaction. She never wants to give the satisfaction of someone knowing she cares, or hurts, or feels joy in the warmth of their smile.
She is a fortress, letting very few people in and closing many people out. She is waiting for that army, that one person, who is willing to do everything in his power to break through the walls and storm the heart of the castle.
Not a prince charming, because she does not need to be rescued, but a warrior who will fight along side her to understand the beauty of the outside as well as the beauty within.
