    Ryan,

The only reason I’m posting this here is because you seem like the type of person who goes on here and searches for letters that are for you. But don’t worry, I do the same thing.

There hasn’t been a single day that has gone by since we met that I haven’t thought of you. When we met, you seemed so sweet and caring. And you are. We talked more that week and dancing with you that Friday night might have been the highlight of my year. When we got back to the US, you returned to Illinois and I went 700 miles away. We texted for a while, but eventually that faded away.

Ryan, you are a tremendous guy. You are passionate and driven and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are going to make a huge difference in this world. And I wish I could send this to you directly, but I’m scared that I still care and you don’t. That I read way more into things.

Our first conversation was about Vacation Bible School. You said you love the music from The Phantom of the Opera. You quoted my favorite book, “The Great Gatsby” to me. You’re also a really great dancer and put up with my horrible moves.

I want you to know that you are such an amazing person and I am honestly doubting that any other guy I ever meet will measure up to you. I always wonder if you think about me on occasion, and I always wonder if I’ll ever see you again.

    I really hope I do.
