    I wander down by myself
    To sit in the silence
While the fog settles on the hills of my beloved island
I can see the smooth mountains
Worn down by glaciers long past and realize
    My insignificance in this landscape
It doesn’t make me sad but happy
Nature goes on without us and isn’t that the beauty in it
I am part of it, not in control of it, and it eases my mind
I breathe a little easier and wish this moment could last a lifetime
    Accepting and peaceful
Out of my control but totally perfect
    Just nestling in comfort
    Ahh… peace
    At last
