• Give Me A Reason To Stay

You’re pushing me to leave, but I’m sure you’d say I’ve decided to go. Why won’t you give me a reason to stay?

Damn it, just let me all the way in. Stop holding me at a distance. Stop making excuses. I’m right here in front of you with my heart ripped out. Who care if we have it all figured out? By the time that happens, we’ll be old, the chance will be gone. Life does not provide perfect scenes, we take what we have and make it all it could be.

When are you going to let someone love you? Or are you even capable of that sort of risk?

I’m done climbing out on a limb for you. It’s your turn. If you won’t, I’ll stop wasting my heart hanging around. At this point, you’re just going to have to catch me to stop me from moving on. It’s your turn to fight; I’ve done it for the past two years without ceasing.

Don’t make me go. And if you let this happen, don’t ever turn around to try to find me. A heart is not to be wasted, and I won’t waste mine waiting for someone who can’t do something as simple as trying to be together.

I love you, but I won’t let you destroy me with your constant hesitation. I need a heart that can be all in. Can you?

I’m in. I know you’re probably not who I’m thinking of, but on the off chance you are, I’m in. Call me.
