    Once upon a time, a very wise man who was laying in his deathbed told me something. I cannot remember his exact words anymore, though I recall him saying something akin to “Time is far too valuable to be spent being angry, sad, or otherwise unhappy.” The intrinsic quality of what he said has made more sense than anything else anyone has ever said to me except for “I love you.”

    This is why I resolve to always be better off, regardless of what does or doesn’t happen.
