Ok where do I begin! Sisterhood means to me having sooo many clothes in my closet from sisters that I don’t remember what belong to who anymore. It means getting a youtube video posted on my wall of a cat in a dress playing piano when I am having the worst day ever. It means being sooo loud in the private study rooms of the library that the librarian kicks us out repeatedly. It means never having to walk to subway alone. It means staying up til 3am messing around on facebook just so my sister doesn’t have to study alone. It means listening to boy bands as we fluff paper balls to put on the ceiling for pref ceremony. It means having a sister skip her government class to drive me to get a haircut the day of recruitment. It means getting back to school from the summer and it feeling like xmas from all the clothes I get back from sisters. It means being afraid to go alum because I truly love all these girls. It means a sister running my iclicker to me when I left it on my desk. It means crying on our porch to my sisters til 4am about a boy who broke my heart. It means being able to wear a different AOII shirt everyday for weeks because we get SOOO many! It means looking at our alumni goofing off during each recruitment party and knowing immediately that you truly are an AOII forever. It means not catching the football and your sisters telling you that it’s alright. It means setting the fire alarm off just to try and make fried pickles. It means going though recruitment on the sister side and knowing without a doubt you belong here. It means going to the beach and not wanting to tell someone you are her big until reveal in 3 days. It means finding your best friend. And then finding your closest group of friends. It means finding your maid of honor 10 years before you’re even married. It means having someone to walk with because the weather is absolutely beautiful. It means finding a home.
