    I don’t see you nearly as often as I’d like.
    In fact I see you close to never.
    We may talk for a few hours at a time or we may not talk for weeks.
    The inconsistency in our relationship would make most want to let go.
    It’s not that I can’t, it’s that I don’t want to.
    You are home to me.
    You’re everything that makes me smile.
    You’re everything that can turn my day around
    And those times when I talk to you,
    And the very rare occasions that I see, that I get to hug you,
    They remind me why I hold on.
    And I hold on
    Because you are home.

      As much as I wish someone would tell me something like this, I have to admit that what I think we have isn’t real. If he felt this way he would tell me. He hasn’t so… mystery solved.
