Thank you for looking out for me this morning. Honestly, I was surprised to see you there but you knew too. You’re never far away and it comforts me to know that you are near. He didn’t show. You knew that though. It broke me that he never did. As you stared out that big window as I walked away finally having finished the machine, I wanted to thank you but I didn’t know how. I wanted to sit and catch up on so many different things but I didn’t feel it was my place. All I knew was that while you were there I was safe. I’ve always felt safe with you and I don’t know why.
