    Moss is gathering and growing
Where I buried my love for you…
I took it from my heart
I placed it deep in the ground
    With the memories of those
    Beautiful, wonderful, and wicked times.

I know I will come to visit this grave
    From time to time
To remember how much I loved you
To remember how much I lost myself
To remember how much you made me smile
To remember how much you made me cry
    To remember every little detail
    Both Good and Bad

Over time the moss will grow thicker
    I will stop to visit
To look down on that past
Not regret the lessons I learned
But to mourn the best friend I lost.
