Did you ever grow anything in the garden of your mind?

    Annoyed with everyone else
    linger, why won’t you?
only to surround somebody else’s thoughts
    never consumed
    every slowly drifting

Did you ever grow anything in the garden of your mind?

    Angered by the slightest touch
left to fight it off on her own
    only had you been there
not your fault, but his own
erased in due time, she said

Did you ever grow anything in the garden of your mind?

    Alert and always distant
little girl, how desolate you’ve grown
obsessed with the thought, my dear let it go.
    no, i can’t.
    erase the endless spots

Did you ever grow anything in the garden of your mind?

    Are you okay?
    lie.. awake, awake at night?
oh, don’t do this to yourself
no one remember who you are, or is it who you were?
either way, it’s time to come home.

I always love reading about people’s interpretations of poems. I wonder about this one. It’s very thought provoking.

All the stanzas spell out alone-its an acrostic. Very well done!

Yes, I can see it now. I would have to agree. Very nice. =)

… I wish to hear someone calling my name
      guiding me home.
