When are you going to let me in?

No more ‘friendship is enough’. (Don’t you wonder if there’s something better than this? Maybe you would if a kiss were sufficiently passionate to show in a feeling how to read my mind.)

    No more second guessing.

    No more walking away.

Just open yourself up and try.

If we crash and burn, it’s a question answered. We’re grown ups, we will find a way to get past it. If we grow into something amazing, it’s much more than we started out with.

So what do we have to lose?

No, I’m not perfect. But neither are you. And we can’t live our lives waiting to be in the perfect situation or to become the perfect people. We just have now. And that could change. A job offer out of state. A new love interest. It could easily change unless we give it a chance and stop leaving room for us to slip away.

So please see this before it’s too late. Because I think there could be something worth having here.

I wish this letter was for me…but they never are. If dreams were ever to become a reality I would say let’s give it a go.
