Dearest P,

Having you here with me has been such an overwhelmingly beautiful experience. You make me feel like I can be purely myself, full of interest, question, and life. Being with you is more comforting than a warm blanket, safer than the sturdiest stronghold, and freer than the flight of a bird.

Even our silences are filled with energy, as our individual cells communicate and bond when our mouths do not. I am overwhelmed by the density of it.

Just being away from you for these few hours while I am at work are painful, and I just want to run back to being in your presence. You inspire and enliven me like no other human being and I cannot wait for the day that begins our journey together. I cannot wait to experience every moment at your side as your confidant, companion, comforter, and conspirator.

The waiting is so challenging, and it seems as though life just keeps getting in the way of our being together. Soon enough, although it feels like a lifetime away, I hope to bear the proud titles of your girlfriend, fiancee, and wife.

What I have said before, I reiterate here: No matter whether we are together or apart, I vow to never inhibit your independent spirit or place binding expectations upon you, blind to the precious uniqueness that is your personhood. One of the aspects that I love and cherish most about your personality is your free-thinking, adventurous mind and I promise to never lose sight of that.
