Dear LINS family,
by admin • July 2, 2012 • * Safe for Work *, Family Stuff • 10 Comments
I say family because of this reason:
While many new people post letters, I know the same few people who always comment.
Three I always see?
1. Enjay
2. Angel
And
3. That girl
I’d like to first say I admire you three. I go on this site about everyday, though rarely do I comment on letters with advice. Mostly because I’m never sure what to say.
But you three, you’re like a trio of old souls. Well, Enjay, you certainly are. That Girl is always having her input, and I like that. Then Angel, I just recently noticed your name come up A LOT.
In fact, I found in the recent comments between you and Enjay on a letter I wrote.
It was the top ten letters being like a poem.
Yes, that t’was me.
But anyways, I just wanted to give you guys your props, and tell you how much I love the reoccuring visitors on LINS. I’m a frequent writer, but not a frequent commenter. But I always like hearing what you guys have to say, on any letter.
And that’s all I really have to say for now.
And I hope to see you guys around on here.
-Hannah

Hannah,
Thank you for your gratitude. It will never go unnoticed, at least for me.
You see, some times a place of civility is where people and hearts become stronger , united as a group.
LINS is a growing networking of good people and a voice for anyone that thinks that they do not have one.
I write on here too but my skills on structure and poetry need guidance. I am more of a short story kind of gal…
Enjay is clearly gifted , I wish him many moons of success. And you as well Hannah. Keep it rocking!… and don’t ever stop expressing yourself.
Love, Angel
Thank you, Hannah.
As with Angel, gratitude is never overlooked on my side of the screen either.
I love this site: the ability to fully express ones self without fear of rejection or judgment, and to have a community (for the most part) bolster and uplift that individual, either in empathy so the writer knows they are not alone, or in encouragement so that they may find the confidence to move forward against that which they may fear. A beautiful thing indeed.
I, personally, am more of a writer than a person who leaves comments on other letters, but I do read almost every letter published on this site and leave comments on those which speak to my heart in a certain way, which isn’t really all that many in my opinion. Certainly I am the least regular of the three here, and several others whom I notice commenting quite often.
But at any rate, thank you once again for your kind post and for being a part of this growing family. Keep writing and keep commenting, for you’ll never know how your words may affect others who read them.
Here’s me wishing you the best.
Take care,
Enjay
**Not to imply that “not all that many” letters don’t speak to my heart or pull on those well-known strings, because in fact most of them do, in one way or another. But there are a select few that I feel compelled to comment on.
Just trying to avoid potential misinterpretation
Enjay,
Way to cover yourself, snob.. (joking of course) haha…
I like to find the diamonds in the rough on here too and like you,I do take the time to read almost all of them on here. I like to be supportive of people and sometimes, a kind word is all they need to hear.. or a harsh one depending on the circumstances.. haha… I think you have experienced the wrath of my written tongue at one point. : )
Write another one Enjay. I like analyzing literature and writings… Yours are fun! : ) I write short stories so they won’t really show up on here often. I am not as good as I would like to be at it, but I’m still learning and when I have a good topic- I dive in!
Angel
Well, I just noticed another frequent commenter, Noname, but I feel you guys usually have the most to say.
I read most of the letters on here as well, and although I feel bad for most situations, I have a difficult time saying the right thing, but I want to try and reach out more than I do.
Just because I think everyone deserves kind words, especially in their hour of need. I certainly have many of those hours and most of the time, all I need is something inspirational, though I usually don’t get feedback.
But this is why I like people who do give feedback!
We’re a family of strangers, and being so, we should stick together.
Which is why I wanted to honor those who do.
Any other family members I missed, I apologize.
You’re quite amazing, too.
Aaahh yes, indeed I have, quite recently too, I believe on an impulsive letter of mine. Not my finest moment :-p
And I am always writing.
I don’t always sign my letters, but I submit a good amount of letters each month for the year that I have been on here (yeah, Enjay’s got no life. I know) :-p
Technically this site is for letters and directly speaking to someone, regardless of whether or not the addressee actually see’s it, but perhaps I may throw in a short story in some time, although admittedly I don’t think I’m very good at them. But will see! I mostly just jot down emotions and experiences and try to express them in a way that the reader can relate to and understand, usually through metaphor and simile.
Anyways, I’ll still be here for a little less than two months before i go to basic training for the Air Force at the end of August, but I’ll be back on here after I graduate from basic.
But take care to you all, especially you, Hannah. I enjoy seeing your familiar faces around this site, for they are one of the big reasons I feel safe posting and enjoy coming here.
Much Love,
Enjay
Well good luck in training!
And thanks for everything you said.
And thank you, Hannah. I think you’ve been doing a good job as it is. Sometimes you don’t always need the “right thing” — sometimes “any thing” is enough if it is offered in Love with the intent to build up, not tear down.
Keep writing, and I’ll see you all around LINS!
~Enjay
Hannah,
Well said! We’ll all be floating around on here on LINS. Take care of yourself!
Enjay,
Good Luck in the Air Force! You’ll do great! Our thoughts will be with you as you start your new endeavor.
Angel
I’ll see you both around.
Take care~
