Are you hiding in the sunshine, behind a brilliant veil of white? Where solitude is meaningless and darkness dissolves before my eyes?

Are you hiding in the ocean, beneath the rolling waves of blue? Where the mysteries are endless and beauty never ends?

Are you hiding in the foliage, beneath a canopy of green? Where the sun dances between the leaves and fragile seeds grow into monstrous trees?

Are you hiding in the falling rain, above an earth of brown? Where life lies in each tear-shaped drop to share its gift with barren ground?

Are you hiding in this hardbound book, between pages filled with endless thought? To captivate each readers mind and open worlds they haven’t seen?

Are you hiding in the winter, through all the different shades of grey? Where icy claws tear at my chest until your warmth melts them away?

Are you hiding in the ruins of a lover I have lost, waiting until the moment’s right to reawake her heart?

Or do you dwell within my own heart, in the unknown corners of my soul? To encourage patience, faith, and hope until the day our hearts are one?

      I always do. 😉

It just takes a little while sometimes or comes in an unexpected form.
