• It’s Worth It

I’m my own person, I don’t need anybody else.

    Relationships aren’t worth it.

They aren’t worth the yearning, the heartache, and the heartbreak.

That’s what I always told myself.

They aren’t worth the time, the effort, the tears.

They aren’t worth the confusion, the frustration, the suffering.

There isn’t really a perfect person out there for everyone.

    But I was wrong.

There is a person, a person who loves you so much that it makes it all worth it.

The support, the care, the protection.

The warmth, the laughs, the smiles.

The joy, the comfort, the affection.

That makes it all worth it.

More than worth it, it makes everything else seem like nothing at all.

Nothing in the world matters, or even exists when you’re with them.

It changes your whole perspective in life, trust me.

If you’ve found that person, hold on tight and never let go.

And if you haven’t, don’t give up. They’re out there, and they’ll make life worth living. Don’t stop looking, and don’t lose hope. Nobody’s perfect, but you’re perfect to someone out there.

    Love exists, for everyone.
