Why settle for a spark, when you can have a fire,
Would you rather sleep all day or never tire?
Would you rather have a crazy life or settle for safe and sane?
I don’t know about you but boredom is my bane.

I would rather get drunk and make bad decisions,
Than sit at home and regret my indecision.
Stay with the saints and forsake all that is bad?
Or party with the sinners: I hear they’re mad?

Maybe you’ll get in a car and drive real slow
I’ll get there fast with my best friends in tow
Maybe you’ll go to a concert and watch a guy play the flute
My friends and I will be out there drinking in suits

Maybe you want a quiet life with the same routine every day
I’d rather live dangerous in a chaotic fray
For with chaos you never know what each second brings
And by mastering it, you truly live like kings

    And so I implore thee
    Make every second count
For he who rides the tiger
    Cannot dismount.
