I Never Told You

I still miss you. I should not still miss you. I really wish you hadn’t left because this “What if?” feeling is quite possibly the worst feeling in the entire world.

..you were just to him/her ‘what if’ regardless?
What if this ‘what if’ would turn things around?
‘What if’ is what you create of fear to find out
what ‘what if’ could mean but maybe it simply doesn’t!
It’s your choice if you can live with ‘what if’ or
prefer the answer.
i completely understand this what if feeling. I was in love with my best friend, and he killed himself. I never told him. I had over 3 years to tell him and I never did. He knew I loved him, and he knew he ment so much to me. But still, when I had the chance I never told him. Now he’s gone. He left, and he’s never coming back. I tell him every day now. But ill never know what he would have said. Ill never know if it could have changed things for us. There are so many things I’ll never know. And I will always regret the what if.
If you can still tell this person what you need to, do it. If not, I feel your pain completely. But if you can, go after what you want and need. Or you will never forgive yourself.
Thats so true. I met a boy many years ago and fell in love with him. Unfotunately we only had a few weeks together. We were separated before we could experience “what if”. I agree with catherine, if you can, go after what you want and need.
