The clock has hit that time again, and, for no particular reason, I find myself thinking of you.
I close my eyes, and I wish. After all, that is what you are supposed to do when the clock hits that time.
I don’t wish for money, I don’t wish for love, I don’t wish for world peace, or any other noble socio-political-economic-enviormental thing.
I wish for you.
I wish for you to be happy.
I wish for you to find peace in your life.
I wish that you will finally see yourself for the amazing person that you are.
I wish for you to realize that you have the strength to overcome the obstacles in your life, the strength to persevere no matter the setbacks.
I wish for you to laugh every day, as many times as you can, with abandon and child-like joy.
I wish for you to be curious, always waiting to see what life will bring to you next.
I wish for you to be patient with people, for you never know what scars their souls bear.
I wish for you to be compassionate, for we are all fighting our own personal demons.
I wish for you to stay hopeful.
I wish for you to stop and appreciate the small, every day, ordinary miracles that so often get over looked.
I wish for you to do what makes you complete.
I wish for you to never be intimidated out of doing something you enjoy.
I wish for you to let those harsh words roll off your back.
I wish for you to always feel that you are worth it.
Because you ARE worth it. All of it. Don’t ever forget that, not even on your darkest days, not even when the stress of life has gotten to you, not even when you feel lonely or lost. Remember that you are amazing, you are such a strong person, and keep looking to the future, for it is bright and full of chances; first chances, second chances, as many chances as you need.
I wish for you, because I know you are worth it.
