    Dear You,

I wrote you a poem this morning expressing everything I feel for you right now, its called “Keep You, for Keeps”

    Keep You, for Keeps

In this instance I feel calm
    I feel warmth
    Like a steady breeze
    I feel light

Can I freeze this moment in time?
this moment, this feeling, this instance,
    I want to freeze it,
    freeze it for keeps

Can I carry you in my shoe?
    like a lucky penny,
    next to my mismatched sock;
or how bout in my pocket?
    I can make you fit
Can I take your hand in mine?
    Your steady, soft hand
    to guide me

Can I keep you in my thoughts?
To keep me rational, as you do
To feed me intelligence, as you’re adbundant

    Im asking please,
    Can I keep you,
Can I keep you for keeps?

Can I hold you in my heart?
Give my heart an everlasting hug?

    Let me keep you.
Let me keep you, for keeps

I wrote this for you, and I want you to be in my heart forever
    Love, Me
