One thing i wish i could do, is go up to every person who has hurt in there eyes and say,”it’s okay, look around, we have all been there. You’re going to be okay.”
I sometimes get that feeling where i see straight through a person. I feel like i’m staring at who they really are. It’s raw and breathtaking-being able to feel that.
I think that’s what brings us all together. Not our interests, and what we like to do, but our issues. Our problems shape who we are. Like it or not, we all have issues. We all are crazy in our own way, and we all are dealt things to deal with, that we may feel like we can’t handle.
One thing i heard a long time ago was a story about you and Jesus walking on a beach. There’s two sets of footprints on the beach. Yours, and Jesus’s. All of a sudden one set of footprints goes away, and you feel all alone. But that set of footprints is Jesus’s because when we are down, he is not walking beside us , he is picking us up on his back and carrying us through.
