    Dear Butt,
I want to apologise for everything that you’re too innocent to notice. It’s going to be unforgivable, though. All I can hope for is that maybe.. decades.. down the road after years of insightful therapy you’ll simply feel sorry for me. Hopefully, you’ll figure out sooner rather than later that it’s not you. You’re not broken. You’re not unlovable. It’s not your fault, Butt. It’s not your fault that the one person who’s supposed to love you unconditionally can’t. You’re nothing short of perfect. It’s me; it’s always going to be me.

Wow – how old is Butt?
Don’t give up … just because you’ve acknowledged something … doesn’t mean you need to or are free to give up. If you have difficulty loving your son … please seek some support and help – it can get better for you both and he deserves it and so do you … I can tell you love him … you just don’t feel powerful enough for whatever reason – and I know there can be many. But – please – don’t give up. He needs you, whatever it is you can give, even if you feel it is not enough … he just needs that little bit of you that you can give. Really – something is better than nothing … really it is. All the best and Peace and Love to you xx
