my last relationship was like this… 2 1/2 years later i got my first flowers from him… a week and a half after that i was single. i guess the lesson is to not put it out there so much to a point that it comes off as not wanting it at all… while at the same time not going out of your way to ask for that sort of thing or make someone feel like you expect it… if that makes sense?
