i really miss you a lot.

you seemed to be some what of a string
always tied elegantly around my finger
not in a you fancy me sense
it’s beautiful, but beauty is pain, you know
as the days go on, it seems to loosen
but, never was it gone
on the occasion, I forget about your string
yet, I look and that’s all I can conjure up
i can’t bring to words how it felt
when I set my eyes upon my hand
you, my string, we’re no longer there
I searched long and hard
on all of my fingers, everywhere
no where to be found was my string
I’ve come now, to know that you’re gone
you’ve tightened yourself upon someone else
you untied yourself, yet I can still feel it
you belong to her, her finger
it makes me lonely to think its gone
the only thing I ever needed
now, I can not have
maybe, just maybe, on day
she will tear my string off
and return him to me, where everything is fine
