    Dear high school boy,

Ever since we became friends, my life has been a little bit brighter. For almost every day of this school year I have had the pleasure of talking to you. Most of the time what we end up talking about is meaningless but it doesn’t even matter. No matter what I say there seems to be no judgement whether its me drunk texting you tell you how great of a guy you are and how much I would love to be with you or in the moment that I told you about the absolute worst night of my life. Your response always comes along the lines of “I don’t really care what happened before I knew you but I care about what happens now.” or “Everything that you have been defines who you are now and thats a good person to be.” Because of how much you don’t judge me and obviously the rest of your great qualities I have fallen for you. Whether the feelings are ever mutual between us or we just stay great friends I want you to know how great you really are. It really is a wonder to me how you are a 17 year old boy who has never kissed a girl in his life but can make a girl who has suffered some serious heartbreak in her past fall for you without even realizing that you are doing it. Whoever that first girl gets to be, I wish it could be me but even if its not, she’s gonna be the world’s luckiest girl. I hope that she can make you the happiest you can be because even though you are super modest and don’t give yourself enough credit for anything, you are the closest to perfect they come.

    With love,

    your always supporting friend
