I sail through a sapphire sky
Drenched with sporadic marble puffs
That I twist and morph into irregular shapes of you
That is until a piercing chrome greeting
Grasps a hold of my staggering attention
Taking me in with blazing arms wide open
And now that fiery ball, kissed by tangerine, won’t let up
So I peel my eyes away and my state of serenity
Is overcome by a wave of enthusiasm
The reminisce of our last kiss
Still lingers on my lips
The taste of compassion will always remain you
But I’m consumed by questions with uncertain answers
Like how time will manage to fly
And when my feet finally brush those ebony streets
Laced with almond colored sand
And that salty smell embraces me
Triggering my mouth to overflow in sheer pleasure
At that moment, those streets will be festive
I’ll dance my way down the smooth blistering pavement
To a familiar rough and splintering wooden pier, where I first met you
And like an artist stands there painting our tantalizing encounter
Brush strokes mimicking in harmony the essence of our triumph
I will hear your rapid heartbeat break the cadence
To the melody of waves pulsing against the rocky shores
You’ll be waiting there patient for me
Through everyone else’s deprived eyes
These roads are sure to be transparent of their luminous beauty
But to me they’re dazzling, filled with emotion
Simply, festive

You should write a book of your poetry, send it to Barnes&Noble, and then tell me it’s there because I seriously would purchase it. This beautiful letter reminded me of something that happened this summer. Keep writing. =)
thank you, I realllly appreciate that
your welcome! =)
