Blue skies filled with the birds songs
    As summer blends to autumn
    Contagious laughter we create
    Trickles through the guarded gates
That wind, and bend and move
To the depths of our subconscious hearts
    Which reflect our naïve minds
That lead us to believe what we hoped
    Would never have to come

As we run we run together
Droughts and floods and stormy weather
As we sing we fall in deep
    Head oe’r heals I think I’m dreaming

    Gentle breezes with painted leaves
Paints deep memories of our joy and peace
I whisper gently into your ear
Hold me close don’t let me go
The sparkling stars bring out your glow
As my fingers glide gently through your hair
Your warmth against me I close my eyes
Cause I feel right at home

There’s one thing I know for sure
I’ve never felt this free before
You hold me dear but ever so lose
    It’s a dangerous combination
    That blows me comprehension
    Of you and your ambition
    And eases this drama tension
    That leaves me wanting more

Though all is well, I still thirst
For what can’t be, I am cursed
We’ve mapped each other so very well
Just the timing’s wrong I can tell
So go do your thing while I do mine
Don’t hold back it’ll just take time

We’ll meet again later in life
Let God guide your beautiful mind
And I’ll let him Shepard my heart
Together we’ll see God’s great art
