Dear “Take you pants off”,
I thought you were different. I thought you could respect me like all of the others couldn’t. I thought I could be myself around you and not be scared you’d touch me. But just like all the other boys, you did it, and I’ve lost all my respect for you. You were the big quiet nerd who would walk with me to english and science. I felt so safe around you. Remember when we used to talk until 4 in the morning on a school night? We used to talk about all the innocent things, and we used to cry, or have you forgotten? I told you about those other boys who disrespected me so you wouldn’t do the same to me. I shouldn’t have set my standards that high, but I’ll keep them that high for a boy who is willing to respect me.
Love, “No thanks”
