March twenty-two, happy birthday to you!
Well, I know you may have moved on,
But I’ve been stuck on you for so long (so long x4)
I hope you don’t think this is so wrong,
But I still want to be with you, and I wrote this song.
I know it might be absurd, but I can’t stand to see you hurt
So stay with me, I’ll keep you free

I want to be with you, I want to stay with you
I want to be the one to call you my own.
I want to hold you, you’ll never be cold here,
but this is all about me… What about you?

Eleven months gone by, but that don’t mean I can’t try
to be with you again, you’re more than my best friend.
I hope this means something. I know I’m not nothing to you.
I know you’re the only one for me.

I want to be with you, I want to stay with you
I want to be the one to call you my own.
I want to hold you, you’ll never be cold here,
but this is all about me… What about you?

I still have feelings for ya, and the only thing that’s gonna stop me is a
bullet through my brain, and even that won’t faze me,
your presence just dazes me, makes my mind all glazy.
Don’t hurt me, don’t taze me, but I think I want you, and no one else–

I want to be with you, I want to stay with you
I want to be the one to call you my own.
I want to hold you, you’ll never be cold here,

but this is all about me… What about you? (x3)

    but what about…us?

*I did not write this. I thought it needed to be shared.
