since you two ‘love eachother’, it would be pretty fair to say that you two are in some sort of relationship correct? and doesn’t one obtain a phone number or email or some sort of personal contact apparatus before they begin a relationship? would it be impracticable to just give a ring a ding on the cell?

We aren’t allowed to. Trust me we would if we could.

But you guys talk about being on Facebook! Why can’t you send messages through that? Or email each other?

Definitely don’t do facebook especially with people keeping chat logs saved and what not. Speaking from experience its better to just call/text or even email. You post something on facebook it can spread like wildfire. *shivers*

technically the website is called letters ill never send. and technically your actually sending the letters to eachother, and replying. none stop. so…i dont think thats what this site is used for.

It gets annoying seeing your guy’s letters every other letter. People come here to post about lost love and I’m sure they don’t want to see your “happiness” posted all over the place. Find a better way to talk to each other because I do not want to hear all the details about your every day life.

I’m torn on this one. On the one hand, “the don’t want to see your “happiness” posted all over the place” isn’t really accurate. I’ve been spending a LOT of time here lately, and seeing their posts are…refreshing. I remember being that young, when the world was all about flute and movies and…not much else. It was simple. Thy’re almost a lost love in a way. They aren’t allowed to do this by regular channels.

On the other hand, there’s something about this site’s anonymity that is…(dare I say it?) desecrated by them knowing each other and posting like this. There are other places to do this “day to day”. Maybe a letter about not being able to do this in other places is more appropriate…?

It’s like having a rowdy lunch in the hospital cafeteria…when you have no reason to be in the hospital in the first place. These are the whispers in the hallways of families grieving, fathers beaming, children being soothed…but we don’t get involved in those lives. Unless the pull is so strong that we HAVE to reach out, tap them on the shoulder and say, “I hear you” with as much compassion as can be housed in the human spirit…
