You’re only as sick as your deepest secrets.
So don’t run your mouth just try to keep it.
The walls built between us are so paper-thin.
Your voice carries through like gone with the wind.
Every word spoken, like you said it to me.
Sad thing for you is I heard every piece.

It’s not just me who thinks your conniving
Your words pierce my back but I keep on surviving
I don’t understand what’s with all this hiding
But you always come back because I’m your confiding.

Behind a cover you hide, because you’re broken inside
I would never talk ill, that’s not what I strive
You can’t come to me, or even try to make peace.
Yet you lash out towards me I’m a little naive
From what you’ve told me you lied, you made me believe,
But I screwed myself over, now I’m in too deep.

It’s not just me who thinks your conniving
Your words pierce my back but I keep on surviving
I don’t understand what’s with all this hiding
But you always come back because I’m your confiding.

What I’ve been meaning to say never comes out right.
When I tell you I‘m gone we just end up in a fight.
The lies that you told burned a hole in my soul
Yet I allow you to do it so what do I complain for?
I don’t know why since I can’t stand the pain.
This situation we’re in is always the same.

It’s not just me who thinks your conniving
Your words pierce my back but I keep on surviving
I don’t understand what’s with all this hiding
But you always come back because I’m your confiding.

Someday soon I’ll open my eyes,
My heart will be healed and I’ll cut my ties.
Never tell me we’re fine when you’re actions speak up.
They have a megaphone and you speak through a paper cup
Just keep it in mind when you tell me your secrets
I hold them inside but I know I still hear it

    Because…

It’s not just me who thinks your conniving
Your words pierce my back but I keep on surviving
I don’t understand what’s with all this hiding
But you always come back because I’m your confiding.
